Aprons made by hand in England, sent anywhere in the world.

Every piece starts on our cutting table. We cut it, sew it, fold it with care and post it to you, wherever you happen to cook, paint or build.

Who we are

A small studio. One apron at a time.

Made-to-order work is where we feel most at home. Someone tells us about their kitchen, their studio, the way they move at the bench. We make the apron that fits that life. Then we send it out into the world.

That is the job, and it is the part we love. Not a catalogue. Not a warehouse. A table, good cloth, sharp shears and a sewing machine in England.

We build for the long haul. Fabric choice matters. How a panel is cut matters. Every seam matters. The aim is simple: an apron that does its work properly, made with plain, honest attention to detail — and shipped wherever you are.

Our proudest moments are quiet ones. A customer comes back for a second apron. A photo arrives of one worn soft from daily use. That is how we know careful making is worth it.

What we make

Six kinds of apron. One standard of making.

For the long shift

Our cross-back aprons are made for hours at the stove. The straps cross behind rather than pulling at your neck, so the weight sits evenly while you work.

For every day

The kitchen apron is the one you reach for without thinking. Breakfast, washing up, Sunday baking. It is made to be worn, not kept for best.

For the workshop

Work and craft aprons are built for regular, honest use — potters, gardeners, woodworkers, anyone whose hands are busy and whose clothes need cover.

Made to your measure

Want it longer? A different cloth? A pocket exactly where your hand falls? Tell us. Made to order means your length, your fabric, your pocket — shaped around your kitchen, studio or workspace.

For giving

Gift sets arrive beautifully packaged, ready to hand over. No wrapping needed.

For small hands

Children's aprons get the same care as everything else we make. Smaller, yes. Less considered, never. Share the size you need and we'll help.

Linen and cotton that get better with wear — softer, richer, more yours.

Studio notes

From the cutting table to your door.

It starts with cloth

We work in linen and cotton. Both are honest fabrics. They take a beating, wash well and age with character — the creases settle, the colour mellows, the hand softens. We pick each length with that future in mind.

Then the hands take over

Every apron is cut and sewn by hand at our workspace in England. Straps are set, pockets placed, edges finished. Nothing is rushed, because a seam sewn properly is a seam you never have to think about again.

Folded, boxed, sent

When a piece is finished, we fold it by hand and box it. It arrives ready to tie on straight away — or to pass across the table as a present. From our England studio, parcels go out to customers all over the world.

That is the whole process. Simple to describe, slow to do well. We wouldn't have it any other way.
